Earlier this year, I stepped onto one of Belgium’s biggest stages: the TV singing competition Lift You Up. The show aired in early 2025, and let me tell you, what an experience it was!

I’ll be honest: for a long time, I was hesitant to join a singing competition. There’s always so much noise, so many headlines about the pressure, the drama, and the not-so-glamorous side of these shows. But deep down, I knew that if I wanted to grow, not just as an artist, but also as a person, I had to take the leap.

And wow, am I glad I did.

The moment I hit that stage, it felt like the world stopped spinning. All eyes were on me, the lights were dazzling, and for a second, I felt like I was living in a movie. Even now, I still romanticize that moment, it’s the kind of memory you keep replaying in your head like your favorite song.

Of course, it wasn’t all glitter and spotlights. Lift You Up was intense: long days, short preparation times, and constant adrenaline. It pushed me to my limits, mentally, physically, and emotionally. But it also taught me how resilient I am, how much I love performing, and how deeply I want to share my music with the world.

Most importantly, it clarified the direction of my artistry. I realized that my path wasn’t just about dramatic flair, it was about embracing pop extravaganza, glitter-dipped anthems, and creating soundtracks for every It Girl out there. That realization inspired my first release of 2025, Follow You, a fun, flirty, dance track that I hope becomes the anthem for your summer.

Would I recommend joining a show like Lift You Up? Absolutely, but only if you’re ready. It’s not just about singing; it’s about stamina, confidence, and keeping your head up through the whirlwind. But if you’re willing to push yourself, it’s an experience that will change you forever.

For me, it was a stepping stone, a glittering one, toward everything I’m building now. ✨
